Unit 2 - El café

About the unit

The second unit consolidates work done on greetings in unit one by introducing us to more of the Spanish children, in a café setting. The main language content in unit two is centred around easy-to-grasp forms of the Spanish verbs for have, like, and want. More colours are introduced (others are reinforced) and the children will also become familiar with some names of fruits and drinks.

Notes

Point out to the children that Spanish exclamation marks go before the word (when they are upside down) as well as at the end of the word. We saw the same principle in unit one with question marks.
