Episode 6 - El mercado
'El Mercado' means 'the market'. Joe and and Maggie help Mummy cook in the kitchen. First, they have to go shopping for the ingredients. So we find out how to ask for things at a market stall. Then it's back to the house to make a typical Spanish tortilla. Yummy! Jim and Speekee play a memory game, with Speekee trying to recall what was on the conveyor belt. Lucía has her own fruit stall, and she soon sells out of everything!

There's a tortilla - Spanish omelette - on the table. Jim asks Antonio: '¿Quieres un poco?' ('Do you want a bit?). Antonio replies, 'Sí por favor' ('Yes please'), and he reaches for a slice. |

Before a cultural clip begins, we see a selection of four of them on the screen. The viewer can guess which one of the four will be shown in full. |
