Week 20
Week 20 is our third and final week in the classroom, Episode “La Clase”. We put together a paper doll from Speekee’s template and practiced naming body parts. I would point while my daughter named them. She would point while I named them. We also printed out some math worksheets and practiced writing numbers up to 20, then adding and subtracting in Spanish. For a review and to wrap-up our time in the classroom, we watched the episode one more time and worked on some of our new vocabulary (please/thank you, family member names, numbers, school supplies, etc.). This episode was jam-packed with information and useful phrases. Also, it was such a neat bonus getting to see inside an authentic Spanish classroom and notice differences and similarities to an American classroom.
